I included a picture of one of the things I was originally curious on. It shows that it only has a RAW release date but I just watched it on crunchyroll 20 minutes ago. Is it because it doesn’t air on tv with a subbed version?
Which anime is it? If there isn't a Sub time that the website has stored, it'll use the raw time according to your settings.
Part 1
It seems that the problem has been resolved. I checked back to the times on the 3 anime’s that only had RAW release times and not sub release times it seems that they have sub countdown timers now in addition to their previous RAW countdown timers. It is possible that there is a delay in either the transfer of information from the sites data cache or a delay of time releases for the subbed version of anime’s from the site that you get your data from. These issues can probably be attributed to the fact that this is the first day these anime’s have been released.
AnimeSchedule does not get sub data from anywhere. They are all manually inputted as soon as I notice that they are available.
This, unfortunately as you experienced, means that there is often a delay in the addition of a sub time on the website if the times weren't previously announced.
Crunchyroll especially likes to make this difficult.
That must suck. I have also noticed that Crunchyroll doesn’t like sharing their release times and data about there shows.
Part 2
This is not a pressing issue because for right now it is working. My only concern is that in order to find the aforementioned anime’s I had to turn on the RAW filter instead of just the sub filter witch some users may not think to do. I remembered that there were two more anime’s that were slated for release today and I had to dig around to find them only to realize that they were hidden because I did not have the RAW filter on.
Also there may be an issue with the comment character limit I put in exactly 1000 characters and it said that I can’t put more than a 1000 characters and didn’t let me make the comment. That is why I hade to break this up into two parts. Sorry for giving you so much work on a week end.
Both raw and sub are enabled by default (the way your settings are set) so new users will not have this issue. They will be able to see the raw anime if sub doesn't exist.
I will look into the comment character limit bug.
Thank you for the info and thank you for looking into the character limit bug.
The character limit bug has been resolved. It wasn't handling newlines as intended, leading to and overflow of characters.
Part 3
The anime’s in question are: Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai de 8-manmai no Kinka wo Tamemasu, Kaiko sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-dai) no Slow na Second Life, and Inu ni Nattara Suki na Hito ni Hirowareta. which I currently don’t see Inu ni Nattara Suki na Hito ni Hirowareta In this weeks or next weeks schedule.
It may be because the RAW release date and sub release dates are a day apart and that’s causing some kind of error where it’s blocking the viewing of the RAW release date because there is a sub release date and the sub release date may not be displaying right because of that.
I cannot replicate your trouble with Inu ni Nattara Suki na Hito ni Hirowareta. I see it fine on my end. I suspect some other filter of yours may be blocking it? Maybe any of the media type filters since the anime is a TV Short?
I was wondering. How many users dose Animeschedule have? If your able to tell me that information.
I don't know the exact number but it's in the thousands.
