When analytical cookies are allowed, Google Analytics also collects standard usage data such as the pages you view and your browser and device type. We do not build detailed device profiles, and we do not collect precise (GPS) location data.
In Short: Your lists, scores, comments, notifications, and settings are stored against your account.
Using the Website creates records on your account: the anime you track with the status and score you give them, the comments and replies you post, your notification settings, and your notifications. A comment notification includes a short excerpt of the comment and identifies the user who triggered it, so excerpts of your own comments appear in other users' notifications too.

We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect sign-up, login, and contact forms from automated abuse. When you use these forms, your IP address and a verification token are sent to Google so it can confirm you are not a bot. Because it protects core account and security functions, reCAPTCHA is treated as a necessary service and is not controlled by the analytical cookie setting.

Notifications are deleted automatically 90 days after they are created, and you can dismiss them sooner. If a comment is deleted, notifications about it are removed or have the excerpt replaced with "[deleted]". Browser push subscriptions are kept until you turn browser notifications off, reset your password, or your account is suspended or deleted, and we delete them automatically once the push service reports one as no longer valid.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

In the past twelve months we collected two categories of personal information: identifiers, such as your username, email address, IP address, and browser push subscription details, and contact information, meaning your email address. We disclosed those same categories for business purposes to the service providers listed under "WHO WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH?", each under a written contract and only so that they can carry out work for us.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not collect sensitive personal information as California law defines it, so there is nothing for you to limit. We also do not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing, so we have nothing to disclose under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, the "Shine The Light" law.
