No message notifications here that I'm aware of. That would be a nice feature though.
Got it, good to know. Yes, that would be useful.
This place was the first solution I could come up with in light of the situation in the other place. Kind of a stopgap measure.
Understandable. And same here, it is simply too volatile of an environment that one. "stopgap" - I have to remember this word, never used it before. :D
I did the same with "echt"
Aa, really? :)) That's nice. My brain sometimes is such a mess... Denglisch for the win! :))
Have they deleted your serial post today? I didn't even get to react to it, but I briefly noticed it. Posts about people reaching a certain rank are also being deleted now.
Yes, apparently they did. No idea why.
So, it allegedly falls into the "spamming" or better yet "farming" category according to the mods as of late... I believe this applies to all posts that have a certain frequency and, as a result, have the potential to generate traffic. But it's a grey area imo. They are also easier to spot, unfortunately.
None of this makes much sense to me, though. A clean-up was by all means needed, sure, but the radical changes are a drawback and not at all user-friendly.
