Same for me now. I have also just read the comments regarding the missing WLs, ongoing maintenance, etc. My God, it's been a couple of crazy days lately.
All this could be avoided had they announced their maintenance plans before, instead of standing mute and allowing wild speculation. They have always been like this. Always reactive, never proactive.
Very true. Right, they are highly reactive as well. Weeks can pass by and they are nowhere to be seen, and then they suddenly go on a banning spree, regardless of who is affected. Have you ever joined their DC, btw?
I have no interest in being on DC or any other social media for that matter. I understand there can be benefits but have found the detriments seem to far outweigh them. I also don't think one should have to go to a different site to speak with the management of a site with a community forum. Seems counterintuitive and randomly roundabout to me.
Indeed. I also find these workarounds they have in place greatly annoying and inconvenient. It's like they're trying to keep their distance as they see fit somehow. Maybe there are other reasons behind it, but to me, as a user, it is def a pain point.
I tried using DC once, not theirs, but others, and found it too distracting and exhausting. I am a bit addicted to Pinterest, though. :)) A, and YT.
Na ja, I hope everything will get back to "normal" in a little while with the site.
Do you prefer live social interactions over social media? I am quite the omnivert...
I'm on Yahoo. Username is that word I've always liked...
