Hey admin, based on MAL (https://myanimelist.net/anime/54437/LianQiShiWanNian) the anime should have 260ep instead of just 160ep. Unless the rest is considered another season.

I agree the season is somewhat mid, but I am happy with Days With My Stepsister. It's not a big ensemble cast, but its graphics and gentle characters are giving me nice Horimiya vibes.
how do you watch that weekly? i would be tweaking cause i often lock in because how soft it is.
If you don't mind me asking - what all did you try this season?
I am really having a blast with a lot of shows this summer, then again I am quite new to anime so I haven't yet fatigued on some overused genre like Isekai, so that helps.
not that they are bad, but they don't give me dopamine... outside romance, but new i'd say Mayonaka Punch, Nokotan and/or I perry everything these are the ones i watch cause they align with my eating schedule... this season for me i'm just bingeing.
I guess I agree. Tried a lot this season, dropped quite a few this season and the ones remaining ... there are maybe 5 I truly enjoy.

Horimiya and Love is War are two of my all-time favourites.
So for school-based rom-coms, I'd put all three seasons of My Teen Romantic Comedy on that same pedestal, and for my backup school-based recommend, I'd suggest Dangers In My Heart. The first episode of Dangers In My Heart is a bit weird, but after that, it's divine.
I watched my teen romantic comedy absolutely loved it. Will give dangers in my heart a go.

+1 to The Dangers in My Heart. A warning though, the first few episodes are really hard to get through but then it progressively gets better and better until it's now one of my favorite romance anime.

excited for the episode tomorrow, the last episode was amazing. I think Episode 1 and 4 of this show are amongst the best of the season so far.

I've rewatched the original a dozen times over the years. The remake seemed to be 1:1 so I stopped after about 5 episodes. If it goes farther then the original then I'll pick it back up. I didn't add it to my romance list since romance wasn't really a focus of the show.
