how does the hidden gem thing when you click seasons work all i know is the top rated when its like spring 2024 and its mushoku tensei s2 p2

It's calculated from the season's top rated but least tracked standalone (no prequel or parent) shows using a reduced tracked median to determine a reasonable choice.

It's not an option and is always enabled. It's just that very few anime on the seasons page actually fit the requirements of being a "hidden gem".
Something like 1-2 per year. If you search "Hidden Gem" using your browser's search functionality I think it'll pop up.

Very fair and understandable (we all have bills to pay and this site's/you've been very generous), though it'd be nice if the CSS wasn't broken on smaller screens because of it (viewport res 1504 × 779)

What is broken in the screenshot? Is it the Friday shows being hidden by the comments? I've tried replicating this issue but seem to be unable.
If you're referring to the timetable splitting into two parts, that's intentional and how it behaves on smaller screens. More people are noticing it because the limits got a bit more stringent due to the side banners

I agree, but it would be cool if there was a preference for the background (custom even), I know some dark mode users poor eyes are drying out. 🤭
I also use dark mode, but I keep my brightness low.
I feel like the timetable should almost never wrap like this, especially when it ends up being below the fold (like on my device).
I'd rather have a smaller table like when I zoom to -80%.
though if it's temporary I can deal with it
for me, in 100% zoom it looks choppy, some elements requires scrolling
basically 3 days goes under instead of displaying it all in the same row as previously was
using zoom at 80% shows the "non-broken" view

Patron needs to be advertised, and the button needs to be more noticeable. I didn't even know y'all had a Patron. Needless to say, I am totally subscribing to the Yandere tier on payday. Also, the sponsor is totally valid. It's a well implemented one, and it's super appropriate. Unlike pretty much any other site with intrusive pron ads.

Well, you expect this site to be in dark mode and the bright ads blast your eyes away.
If there was also a dark mode design for the ad, I doubt anyone would complain.
If necessary, add more ads. Your site is a great tool for those who follow seasonal anime, and it would be a real shame if it ceased to exist. I believe the people who actually use the site wouldn't mind seeing a few ads

Don' t mind the adds, the only thing that I don't like is that it turns dark theme to blind theme because of the background colours. if possible in dark theme could there be a more muted background colour?
For those of you who want to remove the cloud background since its covering the dark theme, just search for AnimeSchedule on greasyfork for a script to remove it.

Yeah, if they added dark themed skin theme i would not have cared. But simple network filter is making it so much easier on my eyes.

I tried but it didn't change back. Do you perhaps know why? I added the extension (tapermonkey), installed the script and said that it would've do it automatically, but i still have the new fromat
Make sure the script is actually running by clicking on the extension while on the webpage. It should show a checkmark that it is active and the name of the script with the toggled status. I only tried this with Firefox, so I don't know if it works with other browsers. Considering it just modified a small part of the html, I would expect it to work regardless of browser though.
It is active, but it says that the script hasn't been executed. It says that Tapermonkey (the extension) wasn't ready, the script didn't exist or wasn't enabled, or that URL didn't correspond. I tried deleting and re-installing the script but it didn't work
Why so bright?

- The full week use to be displayed in one line now it's broken
- A bright background makes dark mode pointless

- I don't mind a banner at the top and beside the comments (they are not full width have empty space), but the timetable shouldn't split on landscape screens (1920 is still a common width afterall)
- Not sure how to handle the brightness due to it being part of the sponsor, maybe apply an overlay to dim it when dark mode is selected
The timetable doesn't split on an unzoomed/unscaled 1920x1080, so I recommend you check your scaling/zoom settings.
Can this ad be removed in settings or at least background clouds be not that bright? It is uncomfortable with dark theme.
The layout is fine for my resolution, but I was messing with the page zoom (scaling) and noticed the 'previous week', 'next week', and 'current filters', just above the timetable, is not set as I would have assume.
(it moves left the more you zoom out)
What I thought it would be: previous week button (percentage value) from the left side of (viewport?), next week the same, but from the right side.
Been a while since I've done web design, so I'm at loss for proper terms, but you get the idea, perhaps a constrained making that a non-option?
(or perhaps I've modified something that made it behave this way, let me know if it's a me thing)

What is your resolution? They collapse under each other on smaller resolutions due to not enough space.
I'm seeing the same issue. 3840x2160 with the Windows scaling set to 150%. The banners on the side with this scaling forces Friday / Saturday / Sunday to be below the other days.
Is it better now? I don't think I can push it further without some considerations.

Yeah this doesn't look very good. If you zoom out a bit, it fixes the spacing back to the way it use to be. The absurdly bright background and annoying Tanya advertisements on both sides is obnoxious though.
I'm not going to go into details, as admin's are (I would assume) making money from this, but the power is in your hands.
