It's still on Friday, and yes there is Episode 8 this week. The dub aired today, so if you don't see the sub then I would check your filters.

Yes, both production issues and alternative programming are true. The latter likely caused by the former.

There is conflicting information, but since iqiyi is saying it's "completed" I'll write it up as 168 episodes. It's very possible that if continues it'll be split as a new season.
