CosmicBreak: Sacrifice
The game is set in the distant future in a parallel dimension called the Cosmic Ark. There is a race of long-dormant, gigantic robots called Arks, which have suddenly awakened to find their galaxy being ruled by the evil Chaos. Since they lay dormant for aeons, the three remaining great Arks of Wisdom, Courage and Strength have been drained of their energy, and now there is only enough energy remaining for one of them to be revived with the power to vanquish the evil Chaos. In order to accomplish this, three different Unions of followers of each of the great Arks have formed, each competing for the revival of their respective Ark and thereby, for the defeat of the Chaos and the fate of the world.
Besides this overarching story, there are several backstories of characters of the game. There is, for example, the background of Crimrose and Ivis, the story of Eihwaz, or the meeting between Eris and Resha among others.

MAHOROBA
At the Hudsucker corporate headquarters, a salaryman (“Me”) is the constant target of his hulking, bald, perverted boss’ violent retribution. Bittersweet childhood memories of Me’s late grandmother keep him going, but his brutal work life pushes him to the breaking point. Me gets sweet revenge and hightails it out of Tokyo, only to have his airplane violently hijacked. He’s dumped into the Pacific Ocean and onto the shores of remote island Mahoroba (an ancient Japanese word describing a far-off utopia).

In ”I Remember” the juxtaposition of art styles was not only used as a narrative device, but also directly and organically as part of the story itself. The characteristics of animation was used to create an indirect metaphor for growth through the changes in painting style.
As the style of the painting changed, a story is told from a childhood dream of becoming a painter, and information is collected from the dream about people, places, and incidents related to these memories. As a result of this process, a childhood was painted in a style of its own incorporating the past and the gradual shift in style as they grow up.

A young Japanese actress remembers her war childhood in Korea. Her father goes to fight, her baby sister Miko dies of typhoid, her beloved Korean maid Ohana is fired due to a mistake which could cost Chiko her life... By and by Chiko realizes that the country is being ruled by the Japanese and the Koreans are persecuted. When the war ends, the Koreans chase the Japanese rule and the roles change. Now Chiko's family is unwanted. But then the Russians come and this is the end. They have to burn all the pictures to avoid all suspicions... even Miko's picture. But when the Russians come to their house, they decide to flee over the 38th Parallel towards freedom. A group of men, women, children struggles along the mountains, led by the light of the North Star. Along the way they meet a Korean man, who is willing to help them to escape the Russian soldiers although his family was killed by the Japanese.
