A team of scientists use the DNA of a rare Pokemon, Mew, to create the world's strongest Pokemon, Mewtwo. Mewtwo then tries to learn how to focus his powers with the aid of Giovanni, the man who funded the scientists' operations, but discovers that it is being used again. So Mewtwo decides to find its own purpose in life, and carry out its revenge on humans by destroying life on earth by using a deadly storm. Ash Ketchum and a group of other Pokemon Trainers are summoned by Mewtwo to have a battle with it, but they soon discover that they're only being invited so Mewtwo can clone their Pokemon for it's own purposes. Ash then tries to find a way to stop Mewtwo's plot before it can be carried out.

Anthology film for three short stories.

The three shorts in the anthology are titled "Hidamari no Choushoku" (Sunny Breakfast), "Chiisana Fashion Show" (A Small Fashion Show), and "Shanghai Koi" (Shanghai Love), and all three will be set in three different Chinese cities.

The theme of the three stories are food, clothing, and shelter. "Hidamari no Choushoku" is about a youth working in Beijing and a grandmother in his hometown. "Chiisana Fashion Show" is about sisters living in Guangzhou. "Shanghai Koi" is set in 1990s Shanghai and is a homage to Byousoku 5 Centimeter (5 Centimeters Per Second).

Karakuri Circus follows three people from different backgrounds whose fates intertwine and diverge as they unravel the mysteries of an ancient tale of love and betrayal, and the long, ancient battle between humans and puppets.

Most young women have lots of obsessions, but Sakurako Kujou only has two: work and bones… and since the bones are part of her work, it really comes down to just bones. However, in between collecting de-fleshed animal and human remains for her studies, Sakurako also assists the local police as a forensic consultant, where she's developed a formidable reputation as both a corpse magnet and detective.

Assisting her in these tasks is young Shoutarou Tatewaki, who is no slouch at sleuthing himself, though his primary task is to keep Sakurako focused (and keep her from occasionally "borrowing" a particularly interesting specimen). If there's a bone to pick, a stray skull to be found, or a random skeleton hidden in a closet, you can trust this team to unearth the evidence.
