Gestalt was shot over the course of a year in a Tokyo dormitory. Each day, Ishida would paint on the wall and photograph it using the available light from the window. The 7-minute long film, which is accompanied by haunting organ music composed by J.S. Bach, consists of those several seconds of film Ishida shot daily.

A short animation based on Kuniko Yamada's semi-autobiographical essay Ikka Ranran (一家ランラン), published in 1993. It released in theaters as part of Kin-chan no Cinema Jack (欽ちゃんのシネマジャック). Yamada narrated the film herself.
Near the end of the 19th century, a young boy loses his father and has to move from a comfortable city to a poor village in Saitama. There, living with his mother, elder sister, and a dog, he learns valuable lessons about what's truly important in life.
Images of the sea and clouds seen from the top of the mountain, the candles of the Tibetan temple, etc., and a chaotic psychedelic animation are juxtaposed.
As oppose to the mythological creature Minotaur, a monsters of western culture, a Japanese monster Kudan has a human head and the body of cow. Kudan is born from female cow. It speaks human language, predicts significant incidents such as war or disaster and dies in three days. This story is about a man who is accidentally transformed into a Kudan.

In a town of South-East Asia, at night, a Yakuza is facing a bloody conflict with local gangs. During the fight, he encounters with a ghost called Krasue (pronounced Gasoo), a flying woman head with her guts exposed, and is followed by her because of his blood's taste. Their battle eventually leads them to the depth of a dark and damp maze-like jungle, where boundaries between humans, animals and ghost seem to fade. With a howling noise, ”BOY MEETS GIRL” metamorphoses into ”Encounter with another species”.
