apiks
1. Solo leveling; Anime based on highest grossing (?) online manhua about a guy who is weak but subverts expectations in interesting ways. Recommend immensely, its an incredible manhua. Action/Drama/Thriller
2. Dungeon meshi (Delicious in Dungeon); An anime about a group of adventurers who learn to cook in a dungeon. If you're a foodie you'll probs like it. The animation is true to the manga. Slice of Life/Action/Comedy.
3. Mashle S2; The second season of Mashle. About essentially a guy who goes to hogwarts but instead of magic powers he just has ridiculous, earth-shattering gainz. Bro pumps iron every day. Ridiculousness ensues. Slice of life/Action/Comedy.
4. Villainess lvl 99; Girl reincarnates as the villainess in an otome game. Trains to a ridiculous level. Plot ensues. Drama/Isekai/Comedy
5. Isekai de mofumofu; Girl isekais into a little kid, is granted a wish by god to be liked by all animals. She then gets to cuddle them all. It's very cute. Slice of Life/Isekai
Best anime so far this season:
1. Solo Leveling
2. Dungeon Meshi
3. Mashle S2
4. Villainess Lvl 99
5. Fluffy paradise
These are the most promising seeming anime this series, appealing to all genders and most ages. Solo leveling and dungeon meshi are the anime in my top 5 rn that are gory so likely not approachable for kids.
the majority of animes im watching this season are on the saturday schedule lolol
A great season for Isekai-Slop enjoyers..
worldbuilding the isekai with Moonlit Fantasy, a Villainess show with Villainess level 99, double isekai with Gekai Elise, black clover but green with Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic, another taming isekai with Weakest tamer picking up trash, the elusive bird isekai with Sasaki to Pii-chan, still not stronger than goku isekai with Instant Death Ability, the wholesome isekai with Fluffy Paradise, and "seventh's time the charm" with Loop-7
You got me at "Black Clover but green" xD
Nearly all anime are out now and quite a few of them are pretty enjoyable so far! Guess this season marks a nice start for this year~
I might be biased but I feel we are in the dry season right now, I was used to watch at least one or two new ep almost everyday but now, we have almost nothing :/
Thank god we have Solo Leveling, Mashle, Classroom of the Elite, Moonlight Fantasy and Shangri-La Frontier, otherwise I would be bored AF.
MIght as well go watch some old anime then :|
While I do feel like the average quality of new animes this season has gone down from last one, we have some pretty good 2 cour ones still airing. I'm still watching some everyday and a bunch on the weekend. But yeah if you are not finding any of the new ones enjoyable then might as well watch something older or play some games. You could ask for recommendations on the discord channel if you don't have a backlog 😉
If you enjoy those i am going to recomend a couple more from this season, lvl 9999 tank, 7th time loop, fluffy paradise(so cute i could cry), worlds weakest tamer, watch banished from the heroes party season 2 is currently airing, and one that the 2 episodes that have released so far gave me that hyper annoyed feeling cause i really do not want to wait for next week is unwanted undead adventurer that one had me super interested
Your first mistake is not watching kingdom lol
Why is that 😅

Is the second season of The Couple of Cuckoos delayed because it was said to be released on 10 Jan in 2024
There is no second season of A Couple of Cuckoos. Maybe you're thinking of a different anime or are confusing its cour 2 (which has already released) with season 2?
