Omae Umasou da na
A Tyrannosaurus called Heart was raised by a herbivorous dinosaur. As he grew up, he was scared by other dinosaurs. One day, Heart meets a baby Ankylosaurus and he names the baby "Umasou (looks delicious)". Umasou started to be attached to Heart and a strange family love develops between the two.
Entotsu Machi no Poupelle
On Halloween night, a young chimney sweep named Lubicchi befriends a man magically conjured out of garbage. Giving him the name Poupelle, Lubicchi is able to recreate a bond he lost when his father died to the tyranny of the Inquisitors—an oppressive force that aims to suppress outside knowledge and the town's true history. But their newfound relationship soon captures a lot of attention, and the threat of the Inquisitors and even the criticism of a few townspeople will test the duo's friendship. In spite of this, Poupelle has struck a particular chord with Lubicchi, and the two conspire to bring the truth to the surface and clear the chimney smoke that clouds the town's skies.

Sore Ike! Anpanman
One night, a Star of Life falls down the chimney of a bakery nestled deep in the forest, causing the dough in the oven to come to life. The dough becomes Anpanman, a superhero made of anpan (a sweet roll with bean jam filling). Together with his friends, Anpanman fights his rival Baikinman and helps the malnourished.

A shy boy named Kanade encounters Latair, the Earth fairy who leaps out from a mysterious pendant! Through Latair's magic, Kanade transforms into different creatures. Traveling across ecosystems—from the ocean and forests to the savanna—he meets fellow animals, sharing moments of laughter, worries, and discovery while learning important lessons. When Kanade realizes the dangers threatening these creatures, he begins to think about what he can do.

Kaidan Restaurant
TV Asahi announced a new kids anime "Kaidan Restaurant (Thriller Restaurant)" based on a picture book. Each episode will consist of three stories or ''dishes'': the appetizer, the main dish, and dessert. The first two ''dishes'' will deal with an ordinary sixth-grade schoolgirl named Ako Ozara and the bizarre occurrences that befall her classmates. The third ''dish'' will be a standalone short ghost story told by Ako and her friends.

Jurassic!
Toei Animation announced a new short anime on Friday titled "Jurassic!" that will debut streaming on YouTube in mid-August. Most of the staff for the anime are comprised of the younger staff at Toei Animation. The anime is also the first in a series of new projects for the studio featuring the younger staff. The Real-Size Koseibutsu Zukan (Real-Size Extinct Creatures Picture Book) book by Ken Tsuchiya is inspiring the anime, and Tsuchiya is serving as the anime's "extinct creatures supervisor."

Long Wu

A short film only screened at the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka. This animated short film is based on a story piece included in a longtime classic and awards-winning children's book "Iya Iya En" by Rieko Nakagawa.
Shigeru is a little boy who goes to the Tulip Nursery School. One morning at school, Shigeru sees the boys a year older building a ship with blocks. He wants to join in too. The completed ship is named the Elephant and Lion. Soon, the children realize the surroundings have transformed into a sea, and even fishes are swimming. The boys load fishing rods and ropes onto the Elephant and Lion, and set out on a whale hunt.
